The Cavs are down bad, on the brink of elimination, but don't tell their coach, Kenny Atkinson! He's out here spinning a yarn about how, “analytically,” his team is somehow beating the Knicks. Seriously? Someone check his stats sheet — pretty sure the scoreboard is the only analytic that matters right now, and it ain't looking good.

According to NY Post Sports, Atkinson's got a severe case of looking on the bright side, even as his team circles the drain. This ain't just optimism; it's full-blown fantasy basketball, where numbers apparently trump actual wins and losses. We gotta hand it to him for the creativity, but the fans? They're not buying it. They want Ws, not whiteboard theories.

Maybe Atkinson needs to trade his analytics software for a pair of glasses, or better yet, a reality check. The Knicks are owning them, plain and simple.
