NETS TO NEW JERSEY? FUGGEDABOUTIT!

New Jersey’s governor is making a full-court press to bring the Nets back to the Garden State, but it looks like her efforts are going nowhere fast. According to NY Post Sports, the team is "perfectly happy in Brooklyn" and has no plans to relocate. So much for that idea!

It seems some politicians just can’t take a hint. The Nets have been in Brooklyn for years now, and they’ve built a strong fanbase. Why would they want to go back to New Jersey? It’s a classic case of wishful thinking from a governor who clearly wants to make a splash but is out of touch with what the fans — and the team — actually want.

So, while the dream of the Nets returning to New Jersey might live on in some political circles, don’t expect to see it happen anytime soon. Brooklyn is where the action is, and the Nets are staying put.
